Morning Message:
- Tuesday-Thursday: Daily Star Student – Share something with the class and write a sentence about what was said. Find letters, digraphs, blends in sentence. Fix mistakes (capitals, spacing, punctuation)
Writing
- Interactive Writing – Roll A Fairy Tale Story (students will roll dice and use prompts to create a unique class fairy tale story with characters, setting, problem, and solution)
- Interactive Writing – Create a map to Grandmother’s House for Little Red Riding Hood
- Intro Into Fairy Tales Chart, retelling with popsicle stick puppets
- Chart Story Elements of Little Red Riding Hood
- Real/Make Believe Chart
- Students will illustrate and write about their favorite part of Little Red Riding Hood
