I hope everyone enjoyed the snow days last week. It was just the perfect amount of snow to really have fun with it! The kids were sure excited to share their snow adventures and enjoyed hearing about mine as well. We all started writing snow stories this week. I am encouraging students to use this writing rubric as they work on their stories. This rubric helps them check their writing to make sure they are using all the writing conventions we have been learning about this week. I am encouraging them to also write at home. We try to have a sharing time at the end of each day for students to share any writing that they have been working on at home (ex: sentences using their sight words, stories they are writing, cards they have made for someone, etc.). Please keep sending them in. I love seeing their continued progress and they love sharing in front of their friends!
